Ripped Off! Instant Price Drop & Bot-Like Customer Service Nightmare 😠
I'm sharing my absolutely terrible online shopping experience as a cautionary tale. I recently ordered contacts, only to find the price for the exact same product dropped by $32 literally two minutes after I completed my purchase. I felt completely ripped off and compelled to contact customer service to understand their price match policy, only to discover a frustrating and unhelpful process. This left me feeling that their prices can change at any minute and a new customer will be ripped off because as soon as you place the order your same product will be $32 cheaper! My attempts to resolve this highlighted a deeply problematic system where you can contact them only through chat, which feels like a bot because I was repeatedly given the same script, and I couldn't talk to a live person. The chat people were RUDE and hung up the chat, making me have to go through the whole process again. They even sent links that didn't do what I asked for. It honestly feels like one big scam, and I felt I had to warn others.
Customer: Hello, I just placed an order for contacts, and literally two minutes later, the price dropped by $32! I feel completely cheated. I need that price difference refunded.
