I'm sharing my utterly frustrating experience as a dire warning to all potential customers. My latest order from Glasses USA was nothing short of a scam, leading me to the firm conclusion that "This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide." I paid $19.95 for "next day delivery," a service explicitly offered on their site, only to receive an email hours later stating it would take 3 business days. This blatant disregard for what I paid for compelled me to leave this review and engage in a conversation with customer service to demand accountability for the unfulfilled service.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery, but my order email says it will take three business days. This is unacceptable; I paid $19.95 for a service I'm clearly not getting! CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the confusion and the delay with your delivery. I understand your frustration. Let me check your order details for you immediately. Customer: There's no confusion, your site clearly stated "eligible for next day delivery." I want my $19.95 delivery fee refunded immediately, and I want to know why this happened. CS Rep: I can confirm the discrepancy, and I am truly sorry for this error. I will process a full refund for the $19.95 next-day delivery fee right away. Your order, which contained Plano lenses with no prescription, has now been delivered on the 24th. Customer: So I'm just supposed to accept that I paid for something I didn't receive, and you're just refunding it? This whole experience has been a complete waste of my time and money. Your automated system and lack of human support are horrible. CS Rep: I truly regret the negative experience you've had. We are constantly working to improve our systems and customer support. Please accept our deepest apologies for the inconvenience and frustration caused. The refund should appear on your statement within 5-7 business days.
